I am actually wearing these jeans again today, so I wanted to push this post up to share how you can wear them. These are vintage Guess jeans I found at the Treasure Island flea market in San Francisco. Guess’s co-founder, Georges Marciano, designed these for his personal collection for the brand, so when I found them for $20 I was shocked!
Pairing vintage and modern trends is something I love to do and is a driving force behind SkribbledSkirt. The medium wash of the denim contrasts perfectly with black fishnet tights. High-waisted denim is my go to right now, even though it may go away very soon *wipes a tear away*. My mom always laughs at me when I wear 80’s inspired clothing. She says, “Oh my god, I feel so old! Those are back in now?!” Yes indeed Mom!
Pairing this vintage 80’s blazer with a halter crop top adds diversity to the look. You can go from a meeting or event to a concert or meeting friends for dinner in a second. An outfit with versatility saves so much time and effort.
