I’ve been drawn to vintage/worn-in tie-dye tees lately. The best ones in Goodwill or in vintage shops are always the kid sizes. They have profound graphics and color. When I found this one, I was shopping for a styling job. I couldn’t say no.

The graphics match the fun and messy aesthetic of tie-dye. It’s interesting to think the blend of colors is associated with the grunge style now. What used to be a unique element to the hippies spread to the masses.

Reminiscing to past eras is all that fashion is. The saying “Stuck in the 90’s” is relevant to me because I was born in 1997. Outfits that symbolize my youth are things I hold dear. It’s sort of my way of looking at how I developed the interests I have now. My tomboy 5-year-old self would be proud of the simplicity and comfort of this look.
I usually never wear this much color, but I’m kind of liking it! What are your favorite ways to wear colorful pieces?

This whole look is from Forever 21 except the shoes. Those are by Kenneth Cole which I found at Macy’s.
