I am finally back in San Francisco. As much as I loved seeing my family, being in the middle of nowhere makes your brain go numb. Baker Beach is definitely a spot that I will race to on my down time.

Certain spots always jog your creative mind. This is one of those spots for me. I seem to have two opposing styles: The minimalist city girl and the whimsical, beach lounging wanderer. This dress that I found for $15 makes me feel very carefree.

Waves have something so intriguing about them and are inspirational to my art. They are random and loose but still hold a distinct shape. One of my favorite towns in southern Wisconsin is Port Washington. It is a small town driven by boaters and Lake Michigan. The art that comes from there is like a hidden gem.

I’m not totally sure how to link this post directly back to fashion, but I do know that I can’t wait to immerse myself in the fashion and culture of San Francisco again. You will be seeing a lot more of my art on Instagram, so keep an eye out for that!

Always go where your mind feels most fueled. It’s important to take brain breaks especially with this upcoming college semester.
