I hope you all had a safe, joyous, and loving Thanksgiving! One childhood holiday memory that always makes me smile is the family sitting around the table after dinner looking at the paper. We would make our plan of attack for Black Friday. Who would make the run for the televisions? Who would get the lawn furniture? Which refrigerator or washer and dryer would mom get this year? What stores had the latest boot style on sale? It was all so invigorating.
I will be leaving in 2 hours to go on a surprise vacation that my boyfriend planned for us, but I wanted to share how I plan my fall wardrobe for both work and play. If you have a busy lifestyle and are always on the go, planning some looks ahead of time is essential.
I am finally back in San Francisco. As much as I loved seeing my family, being in the middle of nowhere makes your brain go numb. Baker Beach is definitely a spot that I will race to on my down time.
Wind is either a nuisance or a welcomed addition while you are on set. During my blog photoshoots, there is only me and the photographer. We do not have help setting up the shot, and it is all organic. The wind was a bit strong, but it captured the raw beauty of this place.

Capturing the extreme sun of August in a comfortable way is done by wearing earth tones. Black certainly does the trick, but that can be too intense. Tan and brown tones are just dark enough the keep you at a comfortable temperature and create an upscale day to night look.
When people hear the word “vintage”, there are thoughts that link to it. People often think of hipsters or old musty clothing. I wear vintage 4 out of the 7 days of the week, and most of my outfits lean toward the modern look. It’s not about the individual piece, it’s how you style it.
Wearing a head-to-toe look from your favorite brand or store always gives you an extra boost of confidence. This white ensemble is from my favorite store, Mercy Vintage in Oakland, CA.
In the mid-season between the talk of summer and fall fashion, I like to take risks when buying new pieces. Since fall shows are right around the corner, trends tend to go up in the air. People are watching the streets for new, emerging style choices. These out of the box choices tend to be influencers for the new fall collections.
